American Automobile manufacturer Ford has unveiled the 2012 Ford Fiesta RS World Rally Car with the new team colors for the 2012 FIA World Rally Championship. The car was showcased at the start-of-season event Autosport International Racing Car Show at Birmingham. The Fiesta RS World Rally Car features a four wheel drive transmission and 1.6 liter Ecoboost engine. The Ford World Rally Team continues to be sponsored by Castrol EDGE.
At the event, Mr. Malcolm Wilson, Team Director and M-Sport Managing Director commented that Castrol EDGE is an important technical partner for the team and that the team is excited to have Ford as the car manufacturer. The team had a strong performance in 2011 and is looking forward to the event in 2012, added Mr. Wilson.
