Enzo successor announced – Ferrari F150

Details have finally emerged that the new Enzo successor will in fact be called the F150, and not the F70 as originally reported. Ferrari has confirmed the new successor and its power train that will come in the form of the V12 6.3-liter 740bhp engine that is taken from the F12 Berlinetta. The engine will however feature an improved version of the HY-KERS electric hybrid system that was showcased at the Geneva Motor Show in 2010. According to reports made by Ferrari their new supercar will feature a carbon fiber monocoque made from four different types of materials and which will be hand-laminated and help to increase torsional rigidity by 27% and beam stiffness by 22%. The new F150 promises to be the most exciting car of 2013, more details will be available soon.
