Corolla Altis Aero launched by Toyota Kirloskar Motor in India

The joint venture between Japanese automaker Toyota and Kirloskar Group, Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has launched a limited edition of the Corolla namely the Corolla Altis Aero with a price tag of Rs 11,47,748 (Ex-showroom Delhi). The launch celebrates 10 years of the Corolla Altis premium sedan in India.

Available in Euro IV, the sedan is equipped with the J Grade 1.8 liter petrol engine used by the existing petrol version of the sedan. It also features two exclusive colors Silver Mica Metallic and Black Mica in addition to the enhancements such as new front and rear bumper spoilers, trunk spoiler with LED, Smoked Halogen Headlamps, Smoked Rear Combination Lamps, 7-spoke alloy wheels, chrome finish Muffler Cutter, dual tone seat fabric and an exclusive Aero Emblem.

According to Mr. Sandeep Singh Deputy Managing Director (Marketing) TKM, the limited edition premium sedan has been introduced with a petrol engine and a diesel version will be considered by the company on the basis of demand for the limited edition. The company plans to sell 500 units of the car model by September 2012.
