The BMW India has launches the S1000R Superbike in India as a CBU model at priced at Rs. 22.83 lakh ex-showroom, Mumbai. The BMW S1000R powered by 999cc 4-cylinder, 4-stroke, liquid/oil-cooled, in-line engine technology which producing 160 bhp of power @ 11,000 rpm and 11.4 kgm of maximum torque @ 9,250 rpm.
The aluminium framed BMW S1000R weighs is 207 kilograms with upside-down telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear suspension. It has 320mm front discs and a 220mm rear disc brake with switchable ABS as a standard. The waiting period depending on the color in India and It is available in blue, red and white colours.
