BMW introduces new 7-series in India

Bmw 7-seriesGerman luxury car maker BMW recently unveiled its 5th generation BMW 7-series cars in India. The all new 7 series will be available in 3 models – 730Ld, 740Li and 750Li. While the 750Li will be out in January itself, the other two models will be introduced to the market sometime in the middle of 2009. The BMW 750Li will be priced at Rs.93.3 lakh (ex-showroom).

The BMW 7 series has been quite successful in India, with the company selling 311 units of it in 2008 out of its total sale of 2,908 units. The new series comes with a host of interesting features such as a Dynamic Damper Control along with Driving Control, Integral Active Steering and a Head-up Display and Night vision.

BMW will also soon launch its much awaited SUV, the BMW X6, in India. The X6 will be priced between Rs.65 lakh and Rs.70 lakh, and will be powered by a 3-litre diesel engine and a 5-litre petrol engine.

  1. BMW X6 is an SAV (Sport Activity Vehicle), it is world’s first SAV and that too from BMW stable.
    Technical Specifications of BMW X6 are Awesome both for Diesel and Petrol:
    Petrol Spec:5000 cc Twin Turbo with a 306 bhp
    Diesel Spec:3000 cc Twin Turbo with a 286 bhp and acheives a torque of 540 Nm @ rmp 1800-2000 which is Awesome..
