Aston Martin AM37 yacht going into production late 2015

Aston Martin and Quintessence Yachts have announced the AM37 will enter the production phase. The legendary British supercar maker is expanding its horizons by entering the yacht business together with Dutch boatbuilder Quintessence Yachts to produce the AM37. The speedboat has received this name as a reference to its 37 feet (11.3 meters) length and will be unveiled later this year. The AM37 will be capable of reaching a top speed of 50 knots (95kmph) while a higher specification AM37 S variant will top out at 60 knots (115kmph). The speedboat will feature a lightweight hull made from carbon fiber and composite materials while the styling has been co-developed in association with Mulder Design. Details about the price tag are not available at this point, but we do know Quintessence is responsible for building the Aston Martin AM37 speedboat at a factory in United Kingdom.
