Audi India, the Indian arm of the German luxury car brand Audi has launched a new Celebration Edition of the Audi A4 sedan car model in India at a price of Rs 25,99,000 (Ex-showroom pan India). The new version of the entry level luxury sedan is less on features rather than more in comparison to usual special editions.
Lesser features in the A4 sedan enable a lower pricing for the luxury car model which doesn’t include a sun roof and power folding side mirrors. The seat adjustment for the front passenger seat is manual based and the tires of the car model feature 16 inch alloys instead of 17 inch.
The engine of the Audi A4 has been trimmed down to a 2.0 liter TDI engine for the Celebration Edition which produces 143 bhp of power and 320 Nm of torque. The car can accelerate from 0-100 kilometers per hour of speed in 9.1 seconds and can attain a top speed of 210 kilometers per hour. The mileage of the A4 is claimed to be 16.55 kilometers per liter.
Audi India is currently leading the Indian luxury segment followed by Mercedes Benz and BMW and the new A4 is expected to help it maintain its leadership as the top luxury car manufacturer in India.
