Utility vehicle manufacturer Mahindra & Mahindra has launched a revamped version of its Verito sedan which features numerous changes in ergonomics and controls. The car model is the company’s only sedan in the Indian market and is a re-launched version of its earlier car model Logan which was a joint product between Mahindra and the French automaker Renault.
The new Verito sedan has been launched with an entry price of Rs 5,27,000 (Ex-showroom Delhi) for the petrol version and the top diesel model has been priced at Rs 7,14,000 (Ex-showroom Delhi). The petrol version of the sedan is available with a 1.4 liter petrol engine which offers 76 bhp of power while the diesel version is offered with a 1.5 liter diesel engine offering 65 bhp of power.
Among the various changes in the sedan are the new front-grill, a new front bumper, newly designed tail lamps and rear bumper. The interiors feature a new dashboard, lighter colors and revised controls apart from new placement of switches for climate control, power windows and music system.
