Japanese automaker Mitsubishi has launched the new Mitsubishi Pajero Sport in India on March 12, 2012 at a price of Rs 23,53,000 (Ex-showroom New Delhi). The new SUV is equipped with a 2.5 liter turbocharged diesel engine that offers 178PS of power and will compete with the likes of the Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavour.
The company claims to have improved the ride quality of the Pajero Sport by installing a Double wishbone with coil spring suspension at the front and a 3-link coil spring suspension at the rear. Moreover, the SUV has been equipped with a new manual gear box which is promised to provide better drivability in urban areas. A turning radius of 5.6 meters will further the ease of driving the car in congested road traffic.
In addition to the improvement in the drivability, the new SUV features safety features such as anti-lock brakes and front airbags. The car includes hi-tech features such as reverse camera and parking sensors.
