Bugatti planning 1600bhp supercar

Bugatti Veyron

As if 1200bhp wasn’t enough for them, Bugatti is now making plans to develop a supercar that will pump out a massive 1600bhp. It seem the car manufacturer of the Veyron is hell bent on making sure that it remains the fastest production car in the world.

There has been news of the new F70 from Ferrari and of course the McLaren P12 that will be launched next year, and Bugatti wants to be ahead of them in terms of power. If all goes well the company will introduce the Veyron Super at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. The car will sport additional carbon fibre and a massive 8.0 litre engine.

It sounds intense, and it is, because if rumors are to be believed, the Veyron Super will be able to accelerate from 0-100kmph in just 1.8 seconds, which is just ridiculous, and will also be able to reach a top speed of about 465kmph. The price will be just as ridiculous as its power figures, and you can expect this beastly machine to cost nothing less than US$ 2.5 million.
