Porsche may enter Formula 1

Yet another rumour of yet another car manufacturer joining the Formula 1 circus is making rounds, and this time is none other than legendary German car maker Porsche.

As you are reading this, the company is picking up personnel with experienced F1 records from engineers to pit bosses. Just weeks after Volkswagen was speculated to enter the F1, now the talks are that Porsche will indeed join F1 as they are recruiting people such as Fritz Enzinger, Alex Hitzinger, Mike Krack and recent Sauber engineer Urs Kuratle. Although we already have heard that Porsche is returning to the famous Le Mans Series, but many journalists are hinting that this is merely a warm-up for their F1 foray.

Porsche is also currently establishing a facility at Weissach, which will be a state of the art motorsport factory that will also have a wind tunnel. There are also rumours that current Porsche drivers are practicing for hours a day on the McLaren simulator. We will just have to wait and see what these guys are really up to.
