Honda FCV revealed ahead of Tokyo

The legendary Japanese car maker, Honda has unveiled the production version of their fuel cell vehicle ahead of its debut at the Tokyo Motor Show. Right now the car is being called the FCV, but that could change, and the concept features a strange design, which is extremely aerodynamic but not very pleasing. We can see a distinctive front fascia with LED headlights, honeycomb mesh grille inserts and boomerang-shaped LED daytime running lights, while at the rear, there’s ventilated front fenders, a contrasting black roof and partially covered rear wheels.

The cabin features upscale styling and a modern design.  Notable highlights include leather seats, wood trim and metallic accents.  The car also has a three-spoke steering wheel, a ‘floating’ infotainment system and enough room to comfortably seat five adults. Honda has confirmed the car will have a fuel-cell powertrain and a range in excess of 700km. The FVC will also have high-output electric motors that promise to deliver an “exhilarating” driving experience.
