In the ongoing Geneva Motor Show, Volvo made known its decision to launch its sports utility vehicle XC60 in India in 2009. The car was launched in the Motor Show going on in Geneva.
Volvo Car India’s MD Mr. Paul De Voijs said, “With the launch of the Volvo XC60 in India, we will be broadening our range to attract more customers with an active, urban lifestyle.” The decision to bring this car to Indian shores comes as a strategy for brand expansion.
