Tata GenX Nano going to launch today

Tata Motors is going to officially launch of the new generation of Tata GenX Nano in India. The company has given a new makeover in styling and also added a new variant. This new GenX Nano comes with extra features and one of the main features is a new automatic manual transmission which works like an automatic gearbox, resulting in no human intervention for changing gears. The similar technology is using by Maruti Suzuki for the Alto K10 model.

Tata GenX Nano expected price:

The actual price of the automatic Nano is not announced yet, but it is expected to be at least Rs. 1,00,000 lower than the Maruti Alto which is priced at Rs. 3,99,187 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The looks of the vehicle has been changed with the honeycomb grill and new bumpers, hoods, lamps and tailgate.

Tata GenX Nano technical:

The Tata Nano is powered by a 624 cc petrol engine that generating 38 PS of power @ at 5,250 (+/-250)rpm and 51 Nm of torque @ 4000 (+/-500)rpm. While the Alto is powered by a 998cc petrol engine that generates 68 PS of power at 6,000rpm and 90 Nm of torque at 3,500 rpm.
