Jaguar gets aggressive in India

Yes we already know the luxury market in India has received the most growth percentage for some time, and it has mainly been dominated by BMW and Audi. Jaguar on the other hand has been quite and calm, but their cars speak differently. The XJ is undoubtedly the better looking luxury sedan than the A8 and 7 Series, and the XF is more stylish than any other in the market. While some might not agree that fact of the matter remains that Jaguar has just entered the market and have been sitting back and watching, but now they have announced some serious plans for the Indian market.

To take the fight to the Germans, Jaguar Land Rover plans to launch two new cars for the Indian market. The first car is the XJ Ultimate, which is simply a Limousine version of the already beautiful XJ sedan. The car will have a longer wheelbase and many other exterior upgrades. The interiors will also be heavily updated with features that will be unmatched. The second car that will come to India will be the F-Type roadster that will take on the Porsche Boxster and BMW Z4. While the car is still under development it is confirmed for a 2013 launch. To get ready for the addition of these vehicles JLR is opening up more dealerships in more cities.
