Refreshed version of 2014 Yamaha FZ and FZ-S launched

The Yamaha india has launched the FZ-S FI V2.0 and the FZ FI V2 bike at Rs. 76,250 and Rs. 78,250 ex-showroom Delhi. These refreshed version bikes of Yamaha has comes with more fuel efficiency by reducing power output and lighter materials to build. Company has given a styling makeover with few upgrades like new headlights design, fuel tank extensions, instrument console, split seats with new tail lights, license plate holder, new silencer, new split grab rails and a tyre hugging splatter guard and new color options.

The bikes are powered from 149cc to 153cc 4-stroke with fuel injection engine that producing 13.1PS of power @ 8,000 rpm and 12.8 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. While the older version was 14 PS power and 13.6 Nm torque. Company said that the lower output and fuel injection will increase fuel efficiency by 14 % and has decreased emissions by 13 %.

The 2014 Yamaha FZ Version is 3 Kg lighter so the bike weighs 132 Kgs now due to reduced weight and best material use in body frame. The 150cc bike buyers who want good mileage can buy the Yamaha FZ and FZ-S Version.

The Yamaha FZ V2.0 version will compete against Bajaj Pulsar, Honda CB Trigger and the upcoming Suzuki Gixxer model.
