Ocean Blue colour Bajaj V15 bike launched

Bajaj Auto India has launched the INS Vikrant’s metal Bajaj V15 in a new Ocean Blue colour for the Indian market. The bike has been very successful in India, which registered over 1.6 lakhs units sales since launched in March this year and company has also started a new campaign that calls for Indians to celebrate National pride every day. With the additional of new Ocean Blue colour, the Bajaj V15 is now available in a total four colour options – Heroic Red, Ebony Black and Pearl White.

The Bajaj V15 crossed the 1 lakh sales mark from March to July 2016, and now within two months it has sold over 60,000 units. The festive season is round the corner so company is expecting to cross the 2 lakh sales milestone before the year end. And according the news sources, the company is planning to launch two new bikes under the V badge by the end of the 2017-18.

Bajaj V15 technical details:

The Bajaj V15 is powered by the 149.5 cc DTS-i single-cylinder, 4- stroke, SOHC 2 valve, air-cooled engine that delivers 12 PS of power @ 7,500rpm and 13 Nm of torque @ 5,500rpm. The bike is mated to a 5-speed constant mesh gearbox. It equipped with a 120mm disc brake at the front and 130 mm drum brake at the rear site.

The bike offers a ground clearance of 165mm and weighs 135.5kg while it measures 2044mm in length, 780mm in width, 780mm in saddle height and 1070mm in height and it has 1355mm of wheelbase.

The Bajaj V15 is muscular looking bike and closely inspired by Cafe Racer- styling elements. The other features like 5-twin spoke alloy wheels, segment first removable rear cowl, LED tail-lamps, INS Vikrant badge and instrument panel with colour changing LEDs.
