Nissan has launched India’s first 4 metre compact family Datsun Go Plus at a price range from Rs. 3.79 lakh to Rs. 4.61 lakh ex-showroom Delhi. The company first model has already sold 12,000 units of Datsun Go hatchback which was launched in March 2014.
This seven seater Datsun Go + is powered by 1.2 litre petrol engine and comes in four variants – D, D1, A & T. The pre-booking was already started at Nissan dealership across India to pay an amount of Rs. 11,000/-, which was fully refundable amount. The Datsun Go+ is the second product in the market after the Datsun GO. Company said that the pre-launch booking has been beyond expectation as it could receive 100 booking deposits and more than 5000 hot leads. It is locally build car which is being rolled out from its Chennai facility and it it’s over 90% of the parts sourced locally.
