The BMW Group India has launched the new MINI Cooper S 3-door hatchback at all India ex-showroom price Rs. 34,65,000/-. The car is available as a CBU (Completely Built-Up) unit and company claims that the petrol powered Cooper S is targeted towards serious Mini enthusiasts while the diesel is focused towards a buyer new to the brand. The Company was launched the Cooper D 3-door and Cooper D 5-door last year in November 2014.
New MINI Cooper S Technical Details:
The Mini Cooper S is powered by 2.0-litre 4-cylinder twin-turbo engine that produces 192 PS of power and 280Nm of maximum torque. The vehicle can go from 0 to 100kmph in just 6.7 seconds and it claim a top speed of 233kmph. It is mated to a 6-speed automatic Steptronic transmission.
The new Mini Cooper S is available in two non-metallic – Pepper White and Volcano Orange as and in nine metallic colours – Moonwalk Grey, Blazing Red, Lapisluxury Blue, British Racing Green, Iced Chocolate, Thunder Grey, Deep Blue, White Silver and Midnight Black.
