New Mercedes-Benz C-Class launched in India

In India the new Mercedes-Benz C-Class has launched at priced Rs. 40.90 lakhs, ex-Showroom Delhi. The new C-Class is available only with a 2.0L petrol engine as a CBU (Completely Built-up Unit) in India. Company said that the locally assembled diesel variant will take place next year.

The new C-Class is available in C 200 CGI Avantgarde variant which is powered by a 1,991cc 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine with direct injection that producing 183.5 PS of power at 5,500rpm and 300Nm of torque between 1,200-1,400rpm with 14.74 kmpl of fuel efficiency. The car gets a 7G-Tronic Plus automatic transmission which contributes to reducing fuel consumption and emissions. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 7.3 seconds with a top speed of 235 kmph.
