The Maserati Terrace at the Hotel Excelsior shone in blue last night as the Trident Marque hosted an exclusive event during the 70th Venice Film Festival.
The “Blue Carpet Night”, dedicated to Maserati’s colour, paid tribute to the four brands which share the same values of craftsmanship and exclusivity and with which Maserati has established long lasting partnerships.
The party, in collaboration with La Martina, Bowers & Wilkins, Riva and Dr Vranjes Firenze, took place just after the premiere of Jonathan Glazer’s ‘Under the Skin’ featuring the stunning Scarlett Johansson, saw the participation of international celebrities and selected guests, including actress Scarlett Johansson, top model and TV presenter Jodie Kidd, sailing legend and skipper of the Maserati VOR70 Giovanni Soldini, actors Vanessa Hessler and Nicolas Vaporidis and Miss Italy 2009 Maria Perrusi who hosted the night.
La Martina, Maserati’s partner in the polo world, showcased six iconic polo shirts, including the one dedicated to Guards Polo Club, the most exclusive in the world.
Bowers & Wilkins, the British manufacturer of high-end audio components, shares with Maserati a total commitment to engineering excellence and technological innovation. From the collaboration with Maserati, new ideas and products were created, including the exceptional premium surround system of the new Maserati Quattroporte.
Riva, part of Ferretti Group, is linked to Maserati by the same passion, excellence and Made in Italy craftsmanship. It showcased Iseo, a 27ft runabout that took pride of place, just for the “Blue Carpet Night”, in the swimming pool of The Maserati Terrace. Riva is one of the leading players worldwide in engineering, production and commercialisation of motor yachts.
Dr. Vranjes Firenze, an elegant maison of interior fragrances, dressed in blue its latest perfumes: a touch of creativity from Dr. Paolo Vranjes in Maserati’s honour.
Special guest of the night, a perfect complement to the music and unique Venetian atmosphere, was renowned sand artist Silvia Emme, whose live performance was a real tribute to all the brands involved.
