Maruti Suzuki India is going to launch Ciaz sedan in India next month and the company begins its production at Manesar plant. The vehicle will be available in both petrol and diesel engine and it will replace the existing SX4 model. Company will start the pre-launch bookings of the vehicle soon. The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz expected length will be 4,545mm, means longer than the Honda City and Hyundai Verna and it will offer a comfortable rear seat experience against SX4 model.
Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Technical:
The technical details not announced yet but petrol Ciaz might be powered by 1.4 litre K-series (K14B) 4-cylinder VVT engine produce 93.6bhp of power and 130Nm of torque while the diesel engine will be powered by the well known 1.3-litre, 1248cc Multijet VGT technology, would be capable to produce 88.8 bhp of power and 200 Nm of torque respectively. Company is also planning to include Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) in Ciaz.

The car will be expected to launch in six range of variants: three petrol – VXi, VXi +, ZXi and threediesel – VDi, VDi+ and ZDi
Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Features Highlight:
The top variants of the Ciaz might be loaded with feature such as projector headlamps, engine start/ stop button, multi-function steering wheel, AC with automatic climate control, rear AC vents, 16-inch alloy wheels, Anti-lock braking system (ABS), Electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD) and dual airbags for driver and front passenger.
Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Price:
Maruti Suzuki Ciaz would be starting at price Rs. 7.5 lakh and it might be compete against the Hyundai Verna, Honda City, Nissan Sunny, Volkswagen Vento, Skoda Rapid and new Fiat Linea.
