Maruti Suzuki is registering over 1,000 booking per day for its newly launched hatchback model Maruti Celerio. The Celerio officially launched on 06th of Feb at Auto Expo 2014 and this is the first car in India with Automated Manual Transmission (AMT).
And the best thing is that the both transmission AMT and Manual achieves the same fuel economy at 23.1 kmpl. It has 1.0-liter K-Series three-cylinder engine that delivers 68PS of power at 6,000rpm and 90Nm of torque at 3,500rpm. It is available in Indian market with three manual transmission variant namely: LXi, VXi and ZXi, two Automatic Variant namely: LXi AMT, VXi AMT and the top optional and advanced variant of ZXi called ZXi Optional. The top-end ZXi Option variant is integrated with features such as dual front airbags, ABS, alloy wheels, 2-DIN stereo system and music controls on steering wheel.
