Indian car manufacturer Mahindra and Mahindra’s sales rose by 16.6% to 23,128 units against 19,841 units last year. Its total sales for the fiscal increased 29.8% at 2,31,355 units (1,78,201).
India’s Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd vehicle sales in March rose 20 percent to 24,682 units from 20,595 units sold a year earlier.
Mahindra, which makes the entry level sedan Logan in collaboration with Renault sold 3,068 cars in March. For the fiscal year 07-08, Mahindra sold 231,355 vehicles, up 30 percent from 178,201 units.
