Mahindra First Choice to open 150 new outlets by 2016

Mahindra First Choice Wheels Services, the multi brand car workshop company and the second hand car dealer arm of Indian carmaker Mahindra & Mahindra is planning to open 150 new outlets by the year 2016.

The company targets a total of 500 outlets in India by the year 2016, up from the current figure of 351 outlets. The carmaker is already in process of opening new outlets and inaugurated three new dealerships at Pune on April 3, 2014.

According to Mr. Nagendra Palle CEO Mahindra First Choice Wheels, the company has posted a growth of 35 percent in the 2013-14 fiscal. He added that the used car business in India is growth at the rate of 30 percent and the organized sector of the industry formed by OEM owned multi brand outlets account for 15 percent of the business in India.

The company currently holds the third position in the organized used car market with Maruti Suzuki and Tata Motors as leaders.
