Jaguar XJ 3.0L diesel

The Tata Motors owned Jaguar has just launched the locally assembled Jaguar XJ 3.0L luxury sedan for the Indian buyers and the main resulted is the lower price tag of Rs. 92.1 lakhs ex-showroom Mumbai, about Rs. 24 lakhs cheaper than fully imported (charged higher import duties). Jaguar XJ 3.0L diesel powered is being assembled at the Tata Motors Pune plant, which will be available in two options – premium luxury and portfolio.

The Tata Motors also assembles Jaguar XF sedan and Land Rover Freelander2 SUV. The petrol version of Jaguar is priced much higher than the diesel variant as it is imported straight from England and is thereby charged higher import duties.

Jaguar XJ 3.0L Technical

The XJ diesel powered by 2993 cc, 3.0 liter 6-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine producing 275 PS power @ 4,000 rpm and 600 Nm of torque @ 2,000 rpm with 12.9 kmpl of combined mileage, mated to a 8-speed automatic transmission. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 in just 6.4 seconds and it has 250 kmph of top speed.
