According to a Unite union official Dave Osborne, Ford and Tata will announce the inking of their JLR agreement by March 5th or 6th. Osborne mentioned the signing of a tripartite agreement between Tata Motors, Ford Motors and JLR union and following this, Land Rover and Jaguar will be Tata’s holdings.
Osborne also added that “Tata denied rumors that it planned to manufacture Land Rover in India or offload Jaguar after the deal” and that “Further discussions are expected with Ford to sort out a couple of outstanding issues.”
