Hyundai Santa Fe recall begins in India

The South Korean car manufacturer Hyundai has started to recall its SUV Santa Fe in India due to a faulty rear brake light switch. The current fluidic Santa Fe will not be affected, recall only applies to the car units those produces between 26 June 2011 to 26th of September, 2013. Company took it initiated and announced that the fault will be replaced free of cost at any Hyundai authorized service center. Hyundai will be recalling about 2,437 units all over India.

The current version of Hyundai Santa Fe was launched at the Auto Expo on 05th Feb 2014. It has 2.2 L diesel engine that generating 194bhp of power @ 3,800rpm and 437 Nm of torque @ 1,800 RPM. The model is available in three variant 2WD MT, 2WD AT and 4WD AT mated with six speed automatic gearbox and manual transmission.
