Honda Brio Amaze diesel to launch on April 18, 2013

Honda Brio Amaze Sedan is going to launch on the 18th April 2013 in India. It will directly compete to Maruti Suzuki Swift DZire, which has average monthly sales around 15,000.

The Honda Amaze will hit in Indian market with petrol and diesel engine option and Amaze is the first Honda’s diesel engine car in India powered by the new 1.5L diesel engine. The Petrol engine will be the 1.2 litre which currently powers in Brio hatchback.

The diesel engine will be manufactured at Tapukara, Rajasthan plantand is said to be the most powerful and efficient engine in its segment India has seen.

The petrol version of Brio Amaze launched in Thailand last year in November, which is powered by a 1.2 liter, 4-cylinder, 16-valve, 90-horsepower SOHC i-VTEC engine with the fuel economy of 20 kilometers per liter.
