Fiat introduces India to Baby Fiat and Bravo

Before Linea and Grande Punto make their much awaited arrival in the Indian autoworld, Fiat is preparing the stage for the same. As an image building exercise, Fiat is introducing Baby Fiat or Fiat 500 and Bravo in India.

Fiat 500 is a makeover of the original 500 which was last sold about 35 years back. Considering both the aforementioned cars will be brought in as CBUs, hence a price tag of 13 lakhs for 500 doesn’t come as a surprise. Bravo will be priced even more dearly.

A company spokesperson stated, “We expect the Baby Fiat to be a hit with the celebrity circuit and trendsetters in the metros since they are aware of the value a genuine lifestyle statement the 500 makes.”

Fiat seems to be not the only one to introduce the new avtar of a vintage car. Volkswagen is coming out with the New Beetle and BMW is also planning to introduce the classic Mini Cooper in India.
