Fiat India has inaugurated its first state-of-the-art training Centre at Ranjangaon, Pune. This training centre has been developed to replicate Fiat Group’s international standards in technical and soft skills training, hence helping out India’s skilled labour. The Unetversity, which is Fiat’s global training school, will conduct and oversee the entire training program that would involve about 50 personnel every single day.
The facility includes 3 Classrooms that have complete AV support and experts from Fiat, Italy and Chrysler, USA as training instructors for the employees. Fiat’s complete range of vehicles will also be made available to the technicians so they can get hands on study of systems and support parts. This would enable the technicians and employees at the plant to experience firsthand, the design and development of the Italian car maker’s global brand of cars. The on-going training program would include a comprehensive suite of web-based and remote access learning tools and working on the latest diagnostic tools for enhanced understanding of FIAT’s global systems and processes.
The entire training program is designed so as to support the complete set of FIAT Group and Chrysler systems including the prominent ones such as LINK-e- Entry for warranty parts supply. Special sessions from FIAT Power Train experts will be conducted to provide knowledge and expertise and replicate best practices in Power Train manufacturing processes.
Can I see any job oppertunity here as a technical trainer?
