FCA launched Fiat Abarth 595 at 29.85 lakh in India

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) has launches the Fiat Abarth 595 at Rs. 29.85 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) with petrol engine as completely built-up units (CBUs) in India. This is first model under its Abarth brand, which in turn is the high-performance version of the Fiat 500 hatchback. The Fiat 500 was first launched in the year 2008 in 1.3 litre Multijet diesel powered engine, but the car was unable to attract buyers so its discontinued in 2013.

Fiat Abarth 595 Technical Details:

The Fiat Abarth 595 is powered by 1.4-litre T-Jet DOHC petrol engine which is capable to generate 160PS of power at 5,500rpm and a peak of maximum torque 206 NM at 2,000rpm with Normal Mode & 230NM at 3,000rpm at Sports Mode. The car is mated to a 5-speed AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) gearbox with paddle shifters as standard.

The Abarth can acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.4 seconds and top speed of 210 km/h. It has Copaf with Frequency Selective Damping (FSD) at front and Koni with Frequency Selective Damping (FSD) at rear suspension.

The Abarth 595 kerb weight is 1155 kgs and it measure 3657 mm in length, 1627 mm in width, 1485 mm in height and 105 mm of ground clearance.
