Bajaj launched KTM RC 200 and RC 390 in India

Good news for the sports bike enthusiast because the much awaited compact sports bikes KTM RC 200 and RC 390 have been launched in India at price of Rs. 1.60 lakh and Rs. 2.05 lakh at ex-showroom Delhi. It has no direct rivals but it will give tough competition to the Honda CBR 250R and Kawasaki Ninja 300 bikes in India.

KTM RC 200 and RC 390 features highlight:

The both KTM bikes are based on its successful KTM Duke 390 and Duke 200. But the riding geometry on the KTM RC 390 and RC 200 are very different from the Duke models. The KTM RC sports-bike features loaded with twin headlamps, new fuel tank and tail section, dual LED daytime running lights on the beak, fairing integrated underbelly exhaust, mirror mounted turn indicators, digital instrument console and split seats

KTM RC 200 and RC 390 technical:

The KTM RC 200 is familiar with KTM 200 Duke which is powered by a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled 199.5cc 4 stroke, engine that delivers 25 PS of power @ 10,000rpm and 19.2 Nm of torque at 8,000rpm. Similarly, the KTM RC 390 is based on Duke 390 powered by single-cylinder, liquid-cooled 4 stroke engine that producing 375cc 43.5 PS of power @ 9,000rpm and 35 Nm of torque @ 7,000rpm. Both KTM RC bikes are mated to a 6-speed constant mesh transmission.

The fuel tank capacity is 9.5 liters and equipped with telescopic suspension at front and monoshock suspension at rear by WP.
