Hyundai is working with the OAA (Open Automotive Alliance) to making Android Auto for drivers. The goal is to provide a smarter and safer way to use smartphone technology and convenience in cars. Android Auto helps us reach that goal. Android Auto safely brings smartphone features directly to Hyundai cars fourth generation touchscreen Audio Video Navigation (AVN) systems. It will will be available in Hyundai select models from 2015 year.

Hyundai drivers will be able to project their phone experience onto their Hyundai in-dash display with Android Auto. It gives drivers to access apps and services, specially optimized for the car with voice input and glanceable controls. The interaction between Android Auto and Hyundai AVN software transforms how an Android phone can be used inside a vehicle. Drivers can connect their phone to Android Auto via a USB port.

Hyundai latest AVN systems are already recognized with advanced feature. Combined Vivid eight-inch touchscreen and microphone to integrate Android Auto for an experience that Android smartphone users will instantly recognize.

Android phone recognize instantly applications, such as messaging, phone, Google Play Music and Google Maps upon connecting their Android phone to their Hyundai vehicle. It will also offer third party audio apps including Stitcher Radio for Podcasts, iHeartRadio – Internet Radio and NPR.
