BMW India, the Indian subsidiary of the German luxury automobile manufacturer BMW has launched the 2014 M6 Gran Coupe at Rs 1,75,40,000 for the Indian luxury car market. The new luxury car model is the performance oriented variant of the 6 Series Gran Coupe.
The new 2014 M6 Gran Coupe is a petrol powered car model variant and is the flagship model in the M series by BMW. The new luxury car is equipped with a two twin-scroll turbo 4.4-litre V8 engine which is mated to a fast shifting 7-speed M-dual clutch transmission. The paddle shifts for transmission is located behind the steering wheel of the car.
Also available with the new luxury car model is a Competition Package which increases the power output to 575PS enabling the car model to go from 0-100 kilometers per hour in 4.2 seconds, as claimed by the carmaker.
BMW offers driving modes as part of the M6 Gran Coupe, namely the Ecopro, the Comfort, the Sport and the Sport+ modes which can be accessed with a touch of a button. The M steering wheel of the car model is capable of remembering two settings for the driver’s preferred suspension, gearbox and steering settings.
