Ashok Leyland enters passenger car market with the Stile MPV

Ashok Leyland, the commercial vehicle manufacture has entered the Indian passenger vehicle segment with the launch of its first multi-purpose vehicle namely the Stile at a starting price of Rs 7,49,000 (ex-showroom Delhi). The Stile MPV is a 7-8 seater and has been developed by Ashok Leyland in collaboration with the Japanese carmaker Nissan Motor.

The new MPV is equipped with a 1461cc diesel engine and doesn’t feature a petrol variant. The claimed mileage for the new car model is 19.5 kilometers per liter and it will be available in three variants named the LE, the LS and the LX and will come in select colors; white, silver, grey, red and black.

The Stile will be sold by the auto manufacturer across its 130 outlets in India and will be offered with a 2 year or up to 50,000 kilometers warranty.
