Renault India is planning to raise prices of its hatchback Pulse by 2 percent from March 8, 2012. The decision is a result of the rising input costs for the company and thus a part of the cost will now be transferred to the customers says Mr. Marc Nassif Renault India Managing Director.
Currently, the hatchback Pulse range starts from Rs 5,77,000 (Ex-showroom Delhi) and is available at 41 dealerships across India. According to a company official, the price hike will be limited to the Pulse and will not be implemented for the Fluence sedan and the Koleos SUV.
Renault India plans to increase its dealership network to 100 and will also launch three new car models by the end of 2012.
