Maruti Suzuki introduces revamped A-Star

Indian automobile major Maruti Suzuki has introduced a new variant of its compact car A-Star on January 25, 2012. The revamped car model has been launched at a price range of Rs. 3,67,000 to Rs. 4,47,000 (ex-showroom Delhi). Changes have been implemented in the existing A-Star model according to the feedback from customers. The company starts the retail selling of the new variant from January 27, 2012.

The company wishes to provide a better overall appearance and comfort to the customers, states Mr. Shashank Srivastava Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) Chief General Manager (Marketing). The modifications include revamped interiors and addition of new colors. Moreover, a new top-end variant ZXi has been added to the A-Star model range.

The A-Star is among the company’s global models and also the flagship export model of Maruti Suzuki which has exported more than 2,81,000 units of the car across the world catering to more than 130 countries.
