Volvo Auto India in association with the Aircel Chennai Open 2012 will be displaying the Volvo S60 as the official car for the tennis event. The luxury sedan launched in March 2011 will be the backdrop for all the matches to be played during the event which will be go on from January 2 to January 8, 2012. Moreover, the dignitaries, the players and the participants will be offered to experience the luxury sedan.
Among the various excusive features offered in the premium sedan are the world’s first ‘Pedestrian Detection’ with full auto brake, Adaptive Cruise Control, Torque Vectoring and Laser Assisted Automatic Braking. It also has the Turn with steering lights or the Active Bending Lights which follow the curves and bends in the road up to 15 degrees for better visibility and road safety.
Commenting on the sedan’s official car debut, Mr. Tomas Ernberg, Managing Director Volvo Auto India stated, “We are delighted to be back in Chennai and look forward to winning many more hearts with the S60 debut as the official car.”
