Maruti Suzuki ranks highest in customer satisfaction with auto dealer services

Maruti Suzuki ranks the highest in customer satisfaction with auto dealer services, according to a survey conducted by market research firm JD Power. Maruti Suzuki has won the honor for the 12th consecutive year this year 2011.

The evaluation measured the customer satisfaction on a scale of 1,000 points and took into account 6,821 responses by car owners for a period of four months (May 2011-August 2011), who bought a car between May 2009 and August 2010. According to JD Power, Maruti Suzuki ranked the highest for the 12th consecutive year and obtained a score of 879. Apart from performing well in service advisor sector, the company made improvements more than any other brand in 2011 in comparison to 2010.

JD Power Asia-Pacific’s Executive Director, Mr Mohit Arora added, “Maruti Suzuki‘s overall performance is largely due to its strength in critical operational measures, including performing service work correctly the first time and exceeding customer expectations for turnaround time.” Maruit Suzuki customers reported they pay low service costs in comparison to other brands.

Honda Siel Cars came in at the second position with 804 points and General Motors and Volkswagen jointly obtained the third position with 791 points each.
