Volkswagen India opens its first training centre

Volkswagen Group India opened its first Regional Training Centre in association with the Rayat Bahrat Group at its Centre of Excellence campus in Mohali. The centre will help expand the training facilities for Volkswagen Group dealerships. The curriculum of the training programme is designed to impart knowledge on the latest Volkswagen automotive technologies to the employees of its dealerships.

For the training purpose, Volkswagen Group India has provided the institute with quality tools and equipment. At present Volkawagen provides training for its dealership employees at the Volkswagen plants in Chakan, Pune and Skoda Auto India Private Limited in Aurangabad.

According to Mr. Maik Stephan, Managing Director, Volkswagen Group Sales India Private Limited, the regional training initiative by the company is going to help it acquire quality human resources and manpower for its 160 dealerships across India. Interaction with skilled personnel will enable the company to enhance the customer satisfaction levels and serve them better.
