Fiat Grande Punto after a makeover will be showcased at 2012 Frankfurt Motor Show.
On the design front, the car sports a brand new grille and new headlamps. The car also gets new bumpers while its wheels get alloy rims with fourteen spokes. Another change introduced is that the Punto logo will be displayed in the middle of the hatch door instead of the side. There are also some changes made to the cars’ interiors too give it a new look.
Under the hood, two new engines are available. The new improved 1.3 liter FIAT Multijet diesel engine has an improved peak power from 75 to 85 Bhp. The 1.3 liter engine uses a range of fuel saving technologies to boost the cars fuel economy to 28 KMPL. As for the other engine, the face lifted Punto sports the MultiAir petrol engine technology. The 900cc twin cylinder turbopetrol engine churns 85 Bhp of peak power and is mated with a six speed manual gearbox.
Fiat expects the redesigned Fiat Punto to receive positive feedback at the 2012 Frankfurt Motor Show.
