Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) may replace three of its models – the WagonR, the Omni and the Versa, sometime soon. The Maruti WagonR, which has been one of the company’s most successful passenger cars, will be replaced by another similarly designed car based on Suzuki’s MR Wagon platform. The Omni too, having survived for 24 long years as the country’s ubiquitous ‘Maruti van’, will be replaced by a new van based on the Versa’s platform.
