The Korean manufacturer, who was once ridiculed for its poor quality vehicles, has over the last 10 years succeeded tremendously, shutting everyone up. Their success story is perhaps one of the greatest ever heard of in the automotive world, and today they are selling some pretty awesome cars. In India Hyundai is now the second largest producer and seller of cars, and their design has caught everyone’s attention. Now they are coming out with another refreshed version of their flagship luxury sedan, also known as the Sonata. The new Sonata promises to be more premium than ever, and it will offer features that other manufacturers have failed to, or only offer in their high end variants. The Korean version will be sold with a 2.0 CVVL engine outputting 168bhp and 201Nm, a 2.4 GDi with 193bhp & 247Nm and a 2.0 LPi rated at 151bhp & 194Nm. These engines will send their power to the front wheels through either a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic gearbox. In the cabin the car will get enhanced plush quality materials to offer a more luxurious setting and safety tech such as 6 airbags, ABS, EBD, ESP and TCS systems, along with Advanced Smart Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning System and Blind Spot Detection assistance systems. Other features include heated and vented front seats, heated rear seats, electric rear window blind and rear side curtain blinds along with an eight-inch touch screen display with support for USB, iPod and Bluetooth connectivity as well as smart phone integration.
