Mercedes unveils their most powerful C-Class – ever!

This is going to be one brilliant machine, that’s for sure. The German giants have doen it again. Mercedes Benz has officially revelaed their much talked about variant the C63 AMG Coupe Black Series edition. The super sexy car was showcased at the German Grand Prix –  truly a well deserving venue keeping in mind the AMG is no less a performance machine as the F1 cars on the circuit.

The all new C63 is as an outright beauty of a machine and the company claims that this particular AMG will change the way you drive when compared to other AMG’s in the company’s model line-up. In fact, this will be the most powerful C-Class of all time as it features a goliath of an engine – 6.3-litre naturally aspirated V8 engine which is capable of producing a jaw-breaking power output of 517bhp along with another gigantic torque figure of 620 Nm of torque. All you car fans and motor heads must be salivating at just the thought of driving one of these bad boys.

According to Mercedes, the C63 clocks an acceleration time from 0-100 kmph in a mere 4.2 seconds – that’s pretty damn quick. A 7-speed automatic transmission fitted with AMG shift will help propel the wheels with that massive power. This new transmission will also help to provide better gear shifts in both the available driving modes – sport and manual. Apparently the steering rate has also been tightened to extract every drop of performance out of the machine.

The car sits lower providing it a better road grip and the widened tyres help it keep planted to the road surface. It is still unsure how much this super car will cost, but you can count on a price tag exceeding $100,000. So if you’ve got the dough and if you wish to have fun, you might want to consider this new hound from AMG. And if not, at least take it for a nice test drive.
