Ola Electric 1 million EV milestone

Ola Electric has made history in the Indian EV market by manufacturing its 1 millionth electric two-wheeler within just four years of production. Starting in 2021, Ola has now reached this massive milestone from its Futurefactory in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu, showcasing rapid growth and customer trust in its products.

To celebrate this landmark achievement, Ola has launched a limited-edition model – the Ola Roadster X+, which comes in a stylish Midnight Blue color, accented with sporty red highlights, a unique copper waste badge, and a premium dual-tone seat. This model reflects the brand’s blend of sustainability and performance.

Ola Electric Journey: From S1 to 1 Million Units

Ola began its EV journey with the launch of the S1 electric scooter in 2021. Since then, it has expanded its lineup and technology offerings, including the newly launched Roadster X+ electric bike.

While the company faced hurdles such as battery safety issues, service quality concerns, and product durability challenges, it has bounced back strongly. According to VAHAN data (August 2025), Ola Electric is now the second-largest electric two-wheeler manufacturer in India, second only to TVS and ahead of all other competitors.

Company Vision: Ending the ICE Age in India

Commenting on the milestone, a spokesperson from Ola Electric stated:
“This is not just a company milestone—it’s a celebration for every Indian who supported our vision. In four years, we’ve gone from an idea to becoming a market leader in electric mobility. Our mission is clear: end the ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) era and position India as a global hub for EV manufacturing.”
