Celebrated automobile designer, Dilip Chhabria, has tied up with Jagdish Khattar’s Carnation Auto to redesign the exteriors of 200 Tata Nanos. The first ‘Hot Nano’, as Chhabria calls the redesigned version of the car, will be out in the market by December 2009. He said that there was a waiting period for the car, as a number of people wanted their Nanos redone. Each ‘Hot Nano’ will cost approximately Rs 80,000 more than the original version. Changes in the interiors of the car will be minimal.
Chhabria, who started his company – DC Design – in 2006, is looking to scale up operations by tying up with Carnation Auto. He has remodeled over 2,000 cars so far, including luxury vehicles owned by Shahrukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Geet Sethi and Sanjay Dutt. The company’s future plans include redesigning ambulances to enhance patients’ comfort.

Hi everybody, it’s Thanksgiving Day! I’m happy with my extra day off, and I am planning to make something fun that will probably involve a moto trip and seeing something new in Sarasota Springs I haven’t seen yet.
You write something new at Thanksgiving?
