11 percent Americans open to buying Indian cars, says survey

A survey conducted in the US by an automotive research firm, AutoPacific, says that 15 percent of new car buyers in the country are open to buying cars manufactured in China, and 11 percent would consider buying cars made in India. The ‘Opportunity for Chinese and Indian brands in the USA’ survey shows that in the near future, Indian and Chinese car manufacturers are likely to give tough competition to already established Korean and Japanese auto makers in the US. As per the survey, every fourth American is now ready to buy a car made in India or China.
