The 2nd generation of 2014 Hyundai Elite i20 has been launched in India at starting priced Rs. 4.89 lakh ex-showroom in Delhi. The vehicle is available in both petrol and diesel engine option with four standards of variants. The four variants Era, Magna, Sportz and the top variant Asta are available in both petrol and diesel engines.
The Hyundai Elite i20 is based on Hyundai’s evolved Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 philosophy and design concept focuses on evolved aesthetic and confident perfection. This premium car comes with exterior and interior changes and it will successfully fulfill the need for driving pleasure of customers, while evoking a sense of confidence and class at the same time.
Hyundai Elite i20 Petrol engine:
It is using the same petrol powered 1.2-litres 4-cylinder, DOHC Kappa Dual VTVT petrol engine producing 83 PS of power at 6,000 rpm and 11.7 kgm of torque at 4,000 rpm mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The engine will give 18.60 kmpl mileage for Era/Magna variants and 18.24 kmpl mileage for Sportz, Sportz(O) and Asta variants.
Hyundai Elite i20 Diesel engine:
The diesel variants are powered by 1.4-litres 4-cylinder, DOHC, U2 CRDi engine technology that producing 90 PS of power at 4,000 rpm and 22.4 kgm of torque at 1,500-2,750 rpm mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. The engine will give 22.54 kmpl mileage for Era/Magna variants and 21.76 kmpl mileage for Sportz, Sportz(O) and Asta variants.
