BMW Group India has launches the 2015 BMW X6 coupe with extravagant, emotive design, luxurious interiors and extensive customization options. The ex-showroom price of the BMW X6 xDrive40d is Rs. 1,15,00,000 and comes with a unique concept – a blend of the very best of an athletic coupe concept coupled with the powerful dynamism of a BMW X family. The car is available in Alpine White as non-metallic colour and in the following four metallic colours: Carbon Black, Flamenco Red Brilliant Effect, Space Grey and Mineral White.
2015 BMW X6 Technical Details:
The 2015 BMW X6 is powered by BMW TwinPower Turbo 3.0-litre 6-cylinder in-line diesel engine that delivers 313 hp of power at 4,400 rpm and produces 630 Nm of maximum torque at 1,500-2500 rpm which can deliver 15.87 kmpl of fuel economy. The car has new 8-speed sport automatic transmission and it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/hr in just 5.8 seconds and a top speed of 240 km/h. The driver can also take over manual control or gear changes using shift paddles. BMW X6 offers 580 liters of cargo space and it can be 1,525 liters of luggage space when all three sections are folded down in a 40:20:40 split.
The new version of X6 is loaded with ‘Adaptive suspension package Comfort’ combines Dynamic Damper Control with air suspension for the rear axle provides ultimate drive comfort. The intelligent xDrive 4-wheel drive (4WD) system has ability to drive on the most challenging road surface conditions, ensuring outstanding traction at all times. The company claims that it is based on a new chassis, now features high-strength steels for strongest, aluminium and thermoplastics uses are making the car lighter overall by 40 kg.
